When to Add eSIM to Your Phone

  • Please scan the code to add eSIM on the day of use and when the phone is connected to the internet to avoid early activation or signal confusion/failure.

 

※Note: Some eSIMs will start counting days immediately after installation on the phone. Please refer to the product information for details. If the product is damaged due to early activation in a non-usage area, it cannot be compensated.

How to Add eSIM to Samsung Galaxy

  • Method 1: Simple eSIM Setup

When you sign up for a mobile plan with one of the following network operators, they can send your new eSIM to your Galaxy device without complex setup processes.

  1. Go to “Settings” > “Connections” > “SIM Manager”.

In SIM Manager, select the “Add eSIM” icon.

  1. Tap “Add eSIM”, your mobile plan will be automatically downloaded and activated on the eSIM.

 

  • Method 2: Scan QR Code

You need to contact your network operator to obtain a QR code.

  1. Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager
  2. Select Add eSIM, then select Scan QR Code
  3. Scan the QR code from your network operator, and your eSIM will be automatically downloaded and activated on your Galaxy device.

 

※Note: The QR code needs to be scanned with another device or printed out for scanning.

 

  • Method 3: Manually Enter SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code

Some eSIM-supported network operators will provide a code for you to manually add the eSIM.

  1. Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager
  2. Select Add eSIM, then select Scan QR Code > Tap Enter Activation Code
  3. Enter the activation code provided by your network operator, and your eSIM will be automatically downloaded and activated on your Galaxy device.
