When to Add eSIM to Your Phone

• Please scan the eSIM QR code on the day you intend to use it and ensure your phone is connected to the internet to avoid early activation or signal issues.

• Method 1: Scan to Add

1. Go to [Settings] > [Network & Internet] > [+] > [Add a number using eSIM] > [Continue] and scan to add.
2. In Pixel, open [Settings], find [Network & Internet], then click [+]. The phone will display [Switch to download eSIM card?], click to scan the QR code and add eSIM to your phone!

※ Note: QR codes need to be scanned using another device or printed out for scanning.

• Method 2: Manually Enter SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code

1. Go to [Settings] > [Network & Internet] > [+] > [Add a number using eSIM] > [Continue] and click [Need help?] and then click [Manual entry].
2. If you need to manually enter it on Pixel, there is a [Need help?] at the bottom of the scan page. Click it and select [Manual entry], then paste the full DM-DP+ Address & Activation Code information. You can directly copy and paste the LPA from the email.

Post-Setup Precautions

After setup is complete, if you have not yet arrived at your destination or do not need to activate it, keep the eSIM plan number and roaming "off" to avoid early activation.

How to Activate eSIM

Go to [Settings] > [Network & Internet] > [SIM Cards], select the "eSIM Plan", and turn on eSIM plan "roaming".

When you need to activate it, simply select the eSIM plan and enable roaming in the eSIM plan to use it normally!
